Kala

The oldest, and smallest of the three cities Kala is believed to have began as a simple fort made from lumber tied together with vines. Overtime the Emperor and his family had a large stone castle built into Kala to guarantee the protection of their family. Overtime it became clear that the stronghold needed to be expanded for the servants. A basement level was made to house the servants and their families. As the castle was being expanded several intellectuals who were respected gurus made an appeal to the Emperor and his family to have the castle expanded. At this point it seemed cruel to exclude the hunters and other laborers from the safety of the stone walls.

As the population swelled within the city walls it became clear that the city needed to be expanded. There have been countless expansions to the city since the creation of the original castle. It was in the year 406 when twins were both in line for the throne. There was a brutal political campaign between the twins to determine who was to be in line for the throne. A younger sibling suggested that they take each take a third of the cities resources and go off to form their own cities. They went south and formed the cities Arindale and Pathara

Kala, as well as the other two major cities follow a rigid Caste System
